Sandbach 2nd XV took five points in a dominant win over Anselmians 2nd XV at Bradwall Road on Saturday. A hat trick of tries and a standout performance from hooker Will Bowbeer earned him the player of the match award. The rest of the tries came from captain Anthony Dowell, Rhys John, Andrew Stanier and a double from Benjamin Salisbury. The win meant that Sandbach extended their lead at the top of NOWIRUL Baines Plumbing Division 1 table. Their next fixture is against St. Edward’s O.B. at home on Saturday.
