Only 18 lads from a possible 32 took the field (or soon to be pond) on an incredibly hideous wet weather day.

No hookers or forward replacements and against one of the strongest squads at junior colts level.

It was always going to be a big ask but credit to Sandbach they answered and backed themselves relentlessly. Delighted with the effort in grim conditions and extremely proud of the performance by all - even better no more injuries to add to our already extensive list!

A massive support to the lads out there were so many of our colts family, friends and injured players who came along and gave such huge support, you were amazing and we were thrilled to see so many of you - am sure it was a huge boost to those playing. THANKYOU!!

Many thanks to Stockport for hosting and the super chicken curry for our lads - much appreciated, we hope to see you at Bradwall Road later this season.
