On Saturday travel to Lancaster for a tough clash against second placed Vale of Lune, where they will be looking to avenge the loss they suffered last season, when a late penalty spoilt an unbeaten five game run they had going at the time. Vale have been on good form ever since and it was a surprise to see their run end last week, with the loss to North Ribblesdale. No doubt they will be smarting after that, so Sandbach will need to be on top of their game and hoping for better conditions to suit their all round game, than we have seen in the last two matches.
