All new players welcome. Contact a member of staff below or feel free to turn up at a training session.

Each year more than 15,000 adults of all ages and abilities play touch rugby in men’s, women’s and mixed games. It’s non-contact, there are no scrums, no line-outs, no rucks and no mauls. If you can run a bit and catch a bit then you can play touch, if you want to get a bit fitter and make new friends then it's perfect. Check out the how to play videos for more information.

It’s a great introduction to rugby and a great way to ease back into the sport after a long spell out. A fast, simple and exciting game it promotes the fundamental rugby skills of handling, evasion and support play, without the physicality of the 15-a-side game.

There's a great social side to playing touch there are quick and simple rules.

We currently play mixed Adult Touch on Tuesday evenings at Sandbach RUFC between 7:00pm - 8:30pm, and mixed Family Touch on Thursdays during the summer from 6:30pm - 8:00pm

Family Sessions are open to lads and dads, mums and daughters. U12’s age groups and under will need to be accompanied at pitch side by a responsible adult.

U13’s and up can come on their own but must make sure that a Medical treatment form is completed and handed in to the coaches in charge

Our Objectives with Touch at Sandbach is to have fun, get a bit of fitness, learn new skills, make new friends and above all have FUN

This is Social Rugby at its best with everyone welcome to come down and play.

No matter what shape, what size, what sex or how fit you are we get together to have fun chucking an odd shape ball around
