On Sunday 7th December, Ollie Mitchell, Zach Boschi and Dylan Husbands, featured for Cheshire Under 18s in their 15-24 victory over Yorkshire at Keighley RUFC. Dylan, who has put in some impressive performances for Sandbach’s 2nd XV this season, picked up the player of the match award.

Ollie, Zach and Dylan were then joined by fellow Colt Tom Cross in Cheshire Under 18s confident victory over Lancashire on Sunday 21st December at Lymm RFC. Lancashire were previously unbeaten and all four players, who all attend Sandbach School, played pivotal roles as Cheshire took their victory count to two from two.

The Cheshire Under 18s team was led by Sandbach’s Rob Davenport. The lead coach was delighted with the squad’s performance and noted that he and Sandbach Rugby Club are extremely proud of how the players have applied themselves this campaign.
It hopefully won’t be long before Ollie, Zach and Tom join Dylan in Sandbach’s senior squad, as these four promising youngsters aim for further achievements for Sandbach RUFC and beyond.
