Given the weather of recent weeks and the lack of rain, the pitches have understandably taken the brunt of this and are on the hard side to say the least. Taking this in mind and looking at the guidance currently being issued by the RFU, the Club have taken the difficult decision to adapt the playing rules for the planned Festival this Saturday, to ensure players don't get injured as a result, but do get some form of pre-season rugby.

Due to this Wharfdale, Caernarfon, Fylde, Bromsgrove, Leek and Ruthin have decided not to travel, but Bowden, Mold, Sandal, Whitchurch and Wirral all good at the moment. So still able to get our rugby fix this Saturday.
