Sandbach Rugby Club had further cause for celebration on Sunday 19th April when their Junior Colts and Senior Colts both won their respective Cheshire Bowl Finals.

The U17s beat Lymm 55-22 at Stockport RFC in the Under 17s Cheshire Bowl Final. The U18s beat Macclesfield 37-20 at Priory Park in the Under 18s Cheshire Bowl Final.
Both age groups joined the 2nd XV, who won the league championship on Saturday, to finish the season in style and bring home the silverware to Bradwall Road.

Many of the Under 18s, who were also league runners up, have been at the club for over a decade and their journeys will continue as they enter the men’s senior rugby programme and compete for a place in the senior squads.

The Junior Colts will assume the Senior Colts mantle and look to push on for another successful season in Colts rugby.

Huge congratulations to both groups of players, their coaches, support staff and families for the commitment, dedication and perseverance shown throughout this season and many before it.
