Sandbach will be looking to put things right after a couple of disappointing results in the last few weeks. Though disrupted by injuries and availability of recent and not helped by the weather, that is par for the course for rugby at this time of the year. Things also will not be easy when Paviors visit on Saturday and the recent results show that though the table seems to indicate a bit of a split in terms of points, this is not reflected in the quality of the sides. Accordingly, Sandbach cannot afford to make the mistakes they did last week and need to convert more of the opportunities they do get.
With it being half term that should help with selection, with Josh Longson and Harry Hughes rumoured to be available for the coaches to consider and a few others absent last week, should also come back into consideration. In the game at Burntstump earlier in the season Sandbach were given a good test by Paviors, before coming through to claim a five-point victory but the visitors form has improved since then. The Nottingham Forest based side has a lot in common with the Bach, producing the core of its players from is Mini /Junior section and also playing an enterprising brand of rugby. So as long as the weather is favourable, which cannot be guaranteed at this time of the year, fingers crossed for an entertaining game and a return to winning ways for the Bach.
