Sandbach will be looking for a reaction following last Saturday’s disappointing result against Old Halesonians, when they once again travel, but this time to the East Midlands, for the visit to Nuneaton. This is a rearranged game, with the original fixture snowed off a fortnight ago, when all the league games fell victim to the weather. Sandbach have a more familiar look again this week, with seven changes to the starting line-up, that includes the welcome return of skipper Dan Stubbs. The game is scheduled to played on the stadium pitch, which is always a bonus and both teams traditionally like to play an all-round game, so an entertaining match is envisaged. Don’t think anybody is too bothered about that England v Ireland game, that is on at the same time!
