Following last week’s late victory against Peterborough Lions, Sandbach again have a home fixture with a first ever visit from Towcestrians. The Tows have been newly promoted into the National Leagues this year and are proving to be more than capable of providing a stiff challenge at this level, having been unbeaten at home to date. They have been less successful on their travels, though to be fair they have only played two games away as of yet. The visitors appear to have a lot in common with the Bach, in being located in a market town in rural Northamptonshire and have developed from the Old Boys of Towcester Grammar School. By all accounts they are a young fit side, with a couple of old heads and also like to play an expansive game. The Tows lie one point ahead of Sandbach in fifth spot and the home side know they will need to be on top form to ensure another victory, in front of the Bradwall Road faithful. Oh and remember it's pronounced 'Toaster' as in bread cooker and not 'Tow-sester' .... (Just like Bister and Bi-sester)
