The Senior playing season ended when the Saxons, who have already been promoted, deservedly ended the campaign with some silverware, in winning the Robinson’s Brewery Jug Final at Old Bedians RUFC last Saturday beating Birkenhead Park 27-12.

Unfortunately our Stormers could not make it a double when they went down 16 v 7 to Leek in the Robinson’s Brewery Shield Final, despite dominating large parts of the game. Notwithstanding, it has been an outstanding year for the Stormers, as they have lost only three times all season, as they gained promotion from the Howell & Co Division 4 South as league champions.
