A few words from Bernard Sproul:
The club would recognise the two of us as we always attended together. Although living in Alsager he loved going to the club on match days as he enjoyed the amateur ethos and family atmosphere the club has generated. He not only attended the 1st team home matches but also would go to watch some local away games, even turning up to support the 2nds.During this season he became very infirm and only manage to attend one home game. Of course, I had to text the half time score and take the program round to him after the match. Very often as I arrived, he would already have found out the final score and trying to work out the league position. He would eagerly await the match report, on line, to see who was playing well and the motm.

I trust you are able to make something of this little eulogy as the club was very close to his heart and he was proud to be a member.
