It is with great sadness that we have to report the loss of another of the club’s great supporters, with the recent passing away of Bob Henshall. Bob founded RK Henshall Chartered Insurance Brokers back in 1976 and the firm has been a regular supporter pretty much since then, sponsoring games, advertising in the programme and acting as the club’s insurers. Though not a rugby man himself, Bob’s son John was a player, coming up through a very successful team in the Mini / Junior section and being a regular player in the 1st XV in the 90’s. Unfortunately, Bob had been suffering from health issues the last two or three years but maintained his backing of us, to help the club become what it is today. Our thoughts are with his family, at this difficult time.
