Sandbach travel to the recently crowned Midlands Premier League Champions Birmingham & Solihull, for another difficult encounter, as the season draws to a close. Sandbach however know that they have the game to upset the hosts, as they are the only team to beat the Champions in the League all season. Nevertheless, Sandbach have never won at Portway but have come mightily close on both the last two outings there. Missing a kick to steal it, in front of the posts last year and suffering a last-minute winning try the season before. Sandbach will need to be at the top of their game though and take all their chances, which they did not do last week, which resulted in their narrow defeat at home to Scunthorpe. Birmingham & Solihull will no doubt be determined to avenge that lost a couple of months ago, but it would not be the first time that Sandbach have spoilt the party.
