Sandbach host Peterborough Lions on Saturday, where the visitors will be keen to avenge a defeat against them earlier in the season. As the Lions are currently in second place in the league and keen to have a crack at the promotion play-offs, they also have a further incentive, but Sandbach do have a reasonable record against them. All the games have been generally close, with Sandbach just clinching a number of them at the death and that was certainly the case at Bretton Park back in November, when a Benny Elliot penalty in the last play took the game. Sandbach will certainly need to front up physically and again look to take advantage of when the big boys tire and generally be keen to move the visitors around. Sandbach have shown already this season that they can upset the result predictors and can particularly be strong at home. So they will be looking for another high-profile scalp and a strong end to the season.
