Sandbach will be looking to follow up last week's victory when they travel to local rivals Longton on Saturday. Earlier this season Sandbach eventually were comfortable victors, as everything seemed to go the home side's way and nothing for Longton. No doubt Longton will be desperate to avenge the heavy defeat. Sandbach will recall that win was very much based on impressive defence and they will need to do the same again to ensure they come away again with the points. Sandbach know that any visit to Trentham Fields is a difficult one, where conditions are often taxing and the home side, with their driving forward based game, are experienced in playing there. Sandbach just managed to sneak the equivalent game 22 v 26 last season, when two Benny Elliot drop goals late in the game proved to be the difference. 'Bach will be looking for a similar result, but know that whatever happens, it will be a keenly fought encounter, with local bragging rights and important league points at stake.
