Sandbach return to action following a month of inactivity due to postponed games and the Christmas break, with the visit of Derby to Bradwall Road on Saturday. Derby did manage a couple of games during this period and lost narrowly to both Nuneaton and Peterborough Lions, but did manage sufficient bonus points to creep above Sandbach in the league to fifth spot. Earlier in the season Sandbach lost to a try in stoppage time to see victory snatched from them at Haslams Lane, so the home team will be looking to avenge that. The last match was a bruising encounter, but both sides also like to play, so if the conditions are not too wet come Saturday, expect another entertaining close game.
