Following the heart break of last weekend, when a narrow defeat saw Sandbach for the third consecutive match, just fail to come out on top in close encounter, they now find a win in Saturday’s home game against Bridgnorth to be vital. Bridgnorth having looked in trouble a few weeks ago have been on a great run, winning their last five games, that has seen them now comfortably placed into 6th in the League. Albeit that this is only 7 points above Sandbach who lie 12th. Sandbach know however that if they can get something like their 1st choice XV out and in the right frame of mind, they can beat anyone in this League, as demonstrated with wins against both Broadstreet and Sheffield, the current table leaders. A past players lunch has been arranged before the game, so a decent crowd is anticipated, to help cheer the boys on to what is hoped is a crucial victory.
