Please make sure your child is wearing clothing appropriate for the weather and brings a water bottle. We will make sure there are regular water breaks throughout.

Hello and welcome to the U6s Fun Skills Squad. During these sessions we aim to give children the skills they need to progress into playing tag rugby matches and beyond as they move through the club. Sessions are designed to be fun and team based.

Training is at SRUFC and starts at 08:50 until 10:00am followed by a complimentary hotdog at the club and team chat, the shop is open to purchase kit etc.

Our aim is to explore the skills needed to be able to play non-contact tag rugby but also to develop their social skills and make new friends along the way. Our volunteer coaches are committed to providing a safe environment for all players to have fun and to evolve each season.

No experience of rugby is required, just a willingness to give it a go and have fun as a team. We embed the Core Values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship which make the game special for those who enjoy the environment and culture they create.

Following the RFU guidelines on Under 6 play Tag rugby, we feel this is a great way to develop their running, catching and decision making skills in a safe positive environment.
