British Lions vs. Argentina - May 23rd |
The RFU has been offered tickets by the WRU for the British and Irish Lions v Argentina which is being played at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff on Monday 23rd May 2005, kick-off 7.30pm (to be confirmed).
The tickets are being offered to the RFU on a firm sale basis and the financial risk of placing an order for tickets with the WRU must therefore be borne by the RFU. In order to minimise that risk, the RFU needs to ascertain the level of interest in this match from its member clubs. All tickets are priced at £56 each, which is the top price.
Unfortunately, application for tickets must be made by 22nd November, so there is not much time to canvass your membership. However, any information you can provide in this regard would be useful.
Please e-mail no later than 19th November the name of your club and your estimated requirements to lionsvarg@therfu.com. Of course, there will be no obligation on the part of your club to take the number of tickets you request at this stage, nor any guarantee from the RFU to provide the number of tickets you request.
