Lions Tour Update 3 |
Hello again hope all is well despite the dreadful performance of the Lions, just too rub it in the majority of the tour party were not under cover and were soaked. Before I forget everything in these reports is not necessarily 100% factual and the little bit about Will Stockdale in the last report was a bare faced lie to get him in bother, sorry Mrs to be Stockers.
Apart from the poor performance tour is going well and all of us made it safely to Queenstown on the 6 seater planes with only one casualty with some sickness on landing no need to publish the culprit. Milford Sound was spectacular the views, waterfalls and even dolphins. Whilst in Queenstown it would have been rude not too experience some extreme sporting, firstly the entire tour group went on the jet boat through a, at times extremely narrow, canyon. Lots of us followed this with either bungy jumping, fly by wire (even Stubby who fell just below the weight restriction) or quad biking. Last but not least the majority of the party went on the luge although discouraged to race by the officials this was ignored and JC nearly got run over following a crash he found himself lunging for safety. Night life in Queenstown was also good went to an ice bar, for those of you who are a bit slow this is a bar made completely of ice, was definitely an experience. Will Stockdale made his life’s biggest achievement to date by successfully eating more than Peter Wright in one sitting, hardly surprising Will is clearly out of shape.
