This site started life in 1998/99 initially as a site exclusively for the then Sandbach Under 13's. At the same time Roger Bradley established an alternative site for the senior club (principally the Vets' team) and Stuart Battersby established the Sandbach RUFC mailing list to e-mail members with match reports etc.,
In 1999/2000 the site became the home of the Under 14's and was developed to include player profiles as well as a fixture listing and match reports.
In early 2000 Roger, Stuart & I decided it was time to integrate the three separate ventures. Accordingly www.sandbachrufc.co.uk was registered with the intention of making this site into a fully functional whole club site.
Now fully completed the site includes full fixture listings, match reports etc for the entire club.
Registered users can login to the member area and submit fixtures, match reports and news items etc., on line. In the case of match reports, on completion these will automatically be e-mailed to the full mailing list and copied to the press for inclusion in local papers. All of this is possible due to the power of Lotus Notes Domino.
Visitors to the site can submit an entry to the on-line Visitors Book and are also able to subscribe to the on-line Mailing List at the same time.
There is also a comprehensive Links Section and Directions to many other North West based Rugby Clubs.
