Congleton 0 - Sandbach 21 Sun 6 March 2005 A dominant Sandbach pack ensured plenty of ball for the backs who were able to show off their skills to the many watching parents. Tries from Nick Godfrey, George Jones and Callum Wood saw the U11s 21 - 0 up by the break. The second half saw the forwards decide to hold onto the ball and have some of their own fun. However, this suited Congleton who began to apply pressure which Sandbach repelled for a well deserved victory. Sandbach B 5 Congleton 24 A big effort from the B Team. Lots of tackling was required as the forwards were unable to secure much ball. James Croissant worked tirelessly at scrum half and lead from the front. However, the bigger and better drilled home forwards were too strong. Conceding 4 tries did not stop Sandbach trying and they were rewarded late on when Adam Niven charged down a clearance and touched down for a well deserved consolation try.
