Warrington 7 - Sandbach 7 |

Sun 12 December 2004
Warrington are another team with big forwards and the Red Sox were always going to be penalised by the lack of width of the pitch at Northwich. We started brightly and kept good pressure on Warrington. This pressure was rewarded when good handling ended in a determined run and lung for the line by Adam Niven. His try was converted by Harry Robinson. Thereafter, the match was energetically and evenly contested, with both sides playing good solid rugby. Warrington got a well deserved second half try, but they had to defend well as it was the Red Sox who finished the game strongly with good pressure on the Warrington line.
Squad: Watts, Whalley (B), Brook, Cooper, Iles, Case, Highfield, Braithwaite, Wood, Robinson, Niven, Godfrey, Ward, Grant-Smith, Mills
