On the Lead and on the Path .... Or not at all......

The club has decided that the dog fouling situation has become untenable and regrettably we must insist that in future All dogs must remain on their leads AND on the paved pathways. Dogs are not allowed on the grass (pitches or spectator areas).

We regret that we have had to introduce this policy and are especially sorry for the inconvenience that this will cause to members. The majority of misdemeanours (Naughty Fido!) are caused by midweek dog walkers, who are almost certainly not club members. Nonetheless we must be consistent and apply this policy to all dogs and their owners.

We recognise that many dog owners are diligent with their 'Poop-Bags' but that's only half the issue. If a dog urinates on the pitch and then, with no rain in between, a child is tackled, rolls across that piece of grass or perhaps even rubs their face in the urine.... Cringe!!! Hence the new policy

On the Lead AND On the Path... Or Not at all...

New signs will shortly be erected to outline this policy. Please DO NOT get into any arguments with dog walkers, but if possible just point out the new policy and ask for their support for the reasons outlined above.

Thanks for your support
