Saturday sees old friends and neighbours Macclesfield visit Sandbach for the quarter final of the Cheshire cup – bar will be open as usual so get down to support the lads. Saxons also play a warm up game away at Sedgley Park ko 230pm.

New players now registered for coming season, some of you may have seen them in the pre season games, when you see them about the club please say hello and make them feel very welcome;

Kieran Allsop - Keiron is a scrum half, brother of Nick (who has signed for Macclesfield) and an ideal replacement for Nick, comes to us from Crewe & Nantwich.

Joe Jepps - Joe is a big strong wing who scored 4 tries in the run out against Fylde Hawks, joins us from Kenilworth

Joshua Tsang – Hooker, good player who impressed in warm up games, comes from Oswestry and previously Stockport.

Harry Grant - Scrum Half and son of former Sandbach captain Simon, quicker than his father, comes to us from Macclesfield.

Martin Bugzy Davies - Second row and a big lad, another arrival from Crewe and Nantwich

Lee Wardle - Big number 8 returning to us from Acton Nomads for his 2nd spell at Sandbach.
