Reg, along with Joe Riley (who still attends all our home games) were the driving forces to reform our rugby club in 1956 after it folded in the Second World War. Old Sandbachians RUFC was based on Middlewich road and used the school pitches. We moved Bradwall Road in 1980 and changed the name to Sandbach RUFC for the 1981-82 season.

Reg, who still lives in Sandbach, will be very proud of our club today and we owe him, Joe Riley and all involved in re forming our club a massive debt of gratitude.
