"Back2Bach": New Recruitment Scheme

Sandbach RUFC is today launching it’s exciting new “Back2Bach” recruitment scheme. Specifically designed to encourage past players, especially Colts and Students, to start playing again at Sandbach, the scheme offers incentives to both the new player AND the existing member that persuaded him to join.

“Back2Bach” works in a similar way to many recruitment schemes used in industry and commerce, and subject to a few conditions, offers an exclusive item of Sandbach RUFC sports clothing (http://www.oneills.com/sandbach-rufc-apex-polo-shirt-wht-red-blk.html) to both the new player and his recruiter upon a successful recruitment. The scheme is funded by an RFU Grant via Cheshire RFU.

Subject to a set of detailed conditions (see below). The existing member (Recruiter) and the joining player (Recruit) will receive a top quality personalised Sports Vest or Polo Shirt (Similar to those here http://www.oneills.com/shop-by-team/rugby/rugby-union/sandbach-rufc/sandbach-rufc-apex-polo-shirt-red-blk-wht.html). The shirt will be embroidered with the player’s initials and a “Back2Bach” Logo.

In broad terms in order to qualify the recruit must play at least 5 senior games for Sandbach and complete a Direct Debit Membership mandate. The recruit will be exempt from weekly playing subs for the first 3 months of his new Sandbach playing career.

Detailed Conditions
• The recruit must have not played for Sandbach for at least 12 months
• The recruit must have played competitive rugby before, either at school, university or club
• The recruit must be aged between 20 and 35.
• The recruiter must register the recruit and have signed approval of his Team Manager and the DoR.
• The recruit must play at least 5 consecutive senior games for Sandbach
• The recruit must complete a Membership Form and a Direct Debit Membership mandate.
• This is not a retrospective scheme. Only recruitments on or after 6th November 2014 will be eligible
